Summary of the study :
Multicentre, randomised, routine care trial A chronic heart failure patient on high doses of diuretics is at high risk of re-hospitalisation and death. Hydro-sodium extraction techniques, the so-called "ultrafiltration technique" (haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis or isolated ultrafiltration) could reduce this risk of death or hospitalisation.
